Volunteer Opportunities

Become a Volunteer and participate in the V.I.P. Program

All Harrison School District Two volunteers are now required to register with the district before they begin working in the classrooms at our school. Everyone must complete the registration process, which involves completing the Volunteer Application Packet. Forms are available at the front office or you may print a copy from Harrison School District’s website.

Each application is screened and a criminal background and fingerprint check is performed. The background check process takes 2 to 3 days and the fingerprint check can be done in one day. Applicants will be notified by email (or telephone if an email address is not provided) when they are cleared to proceed with the fingerprint check process. Fingerprint check cards may be picked up at the school's front desk. All fingerprinting is done at the Police Operations Center located at 705 S. Nevada Ave. Please know that fingerprint check card will only be given to those applicants who have completed and passed the background check. To ensure the safety of our students, individuals are accepted into the Harrison School District Two V.I.P. Program after the entire screening process is complete and the fingerprint check card (and forms) has been returned to the front office at Sand Creek who will ensure the packet is turned into the communication dept of the district.

Thank you for all of your understanding and participation in keeping our students safe!!!
